What we work on in every session
We build decoding skills systematically, starting exactly where your child is and moving forward in a carefully sequenced progression. No skipping ahead, no guessing.
Every few sessions we check in formally to measure growth and adjust the plan. Parents receive clear, plain-English updates so you always know where your child stands.
Reading accurately is the goal — reading smoothly and with expression is what makes comprehension possible. We work on both, every session.
Once the words are decoded, we make sure your child understands what they’re reading. We practice asking questions, making connections, and retelling with detail.
